Bio: GARY HAS BEEN a career banker and trust company executive officer since his graduation from Trent University in 1968. In 1970, at the age of 23, Gary was the youngest bank manager ever appointed in the history of the Bank of Montreal.

FOLLOWING APPOINTMENTS to increasingly senior branches in the bank's system, Gary was appointed a District Managers position in Alberta in 1980 where he supervised 30 branches and a staff of 700+. He left the Bank of Montreal twice during his career to assume VP positions in the Trust industry. At the Fidelity Trust Company, Gary reported directly to the Chairman and major shareholder, Peter Pocklington.

DURING HIS CAREER Gary also taught business finance and credit at Durham College in Oshawa and Centennial College in Toronto. He holds an MTCI designation from the Trust Companies Institute and an AICB designation from the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Gary joined Kathy at Mortgage Plus in 1993 following a period in which he was Vice President for the Municipal Trust Company.

GARY IS ALSO a founding member of the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association. He has two sons and one grandchild and enjoys his weekends camping in his motor home. He is an active member of his church, sings bass in the choir, and is a member of the board of managers. Gary is also an active member of the Tri-City Men's Gospel (Barbershop) Chorus.

Bio: KATHY HAS BEEN inthe financial arena all of her career. A Peterborough dentist's daughter, she grew up at the family cottage on Koshabog lake, where she can still be found, every weekend winter or summer.

KATHY'S BANKING CAREER started following a trip to Calgary where she joined the Royal Bank. Following 10 years with the Royal Bank, including her last posting as a loans officer in Peterborough, she saw an opportunity to 'go it alone' with another enterprising businesswoman and co-founded Mortgage Plus in June of 1988.

KATHY IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED in raising her two children and in local interests, including the Women's Business Network. She is also a founding member of the Independent Mortgage Broker's Association. Kathy and her husband, Larry, also operate a 100 acre farming operation raising Paint and Mustang horses, Komondor dogs, and purebred alpacas. They have won many honours and ribbons for their championship animals.

KATHY'S ABILITY TO 'make the deal happen' is well known and she is highly respected for her intuitiveness, honesty, and perseverance on behalf of her customers.

Bio: Danny comes to Mortgage Plus following a highly successful 37 year career in financial services with a leading multi-national lender. Dan’s knowledge of the Kawartha’s and its people is second to none. He and his wife delight in their own private island getaway in Chemong Lake where they entertain their children & grandchildren.
